As Finance Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the Global Finance team to provide accounting support worldwide. Starting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, you will set up a team, transition processes, and streamline tasks. This role is based in Gurgaon with on-campus requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Accounts Executives, including recruiting, training, and overseeing daily deliverables.

  • Transition processes from regional teams to a centralized team, consolidating these processes.

  • Design and create global processes as part of the consolidation and onboarding of regions.

  • Streamline tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness using D365.

  • Begin with Accounts Payable processes, then expand support to Accounts Receivable, including billing, collection, cash application, and bank reconciliation.

  • Collaborate with current process owners to ensure alignment of processes, expectations, and transition timelines.

  • Engage stakeholders to align on expectations, such as timeline and quality standards.

  • Establish individual and team KPIs to monitor performance.

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and build reporting capabilities.

  • Participate in and support regular audit requirements for global entities.

  • Expand support to additional accounting processes as the team grows.


Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or Finance.

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role with a computerized accounting system, including at least 5 years in people management.

  • Proven ability to digitalize accounts payable processes and re-engineer existing processes.

  • Experienced in designing and implementing global processes with OCR and AI integration where applicable.

  • Prior experience in establishing a centralized accounting function.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of internal controls.

  • Experience managing global stakeholders and planning and executing annual goals within a global team.

  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal; additional language skills are an asset.

  • Familiarity with US GAAP and Middle East accounting standards is highly desirable.

  • Energetic, eager to learn, adaptable to ambiguity, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
